POLYURETHANE BASED FIRE RETARDANT TOP COAT VARNISH (4+1) (GLOSSY-SATEEN-MATT )
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT: Polyurethane-based, two-component, glossy, sateen or matt varnish that is suitable for use in processing the raw wood and that is used as solvent-based fire retardant top coat. This product is the mixture of the registered components that form a slightly swelling foam layer and carbon coal when the processed wood is exposed to fire. When the carbon coal is formed, there will occur the least flame propagation, smoke formation or after-glow. The product is designed only for use in indoor spaces. If the upper layer is coated with an approved product, the product can be used in the outdoor applications.
RECOMMENDED PLACE OF USE: Public buildings, construction buildings, offices, factories, clubs, bars, banks, airports and train stations, hotels, stores, schools, hospitals, sport halls and fitness centers.

Surface Preparation: The surface must be clean and sound. The wooden surfaces should be cleared of the dust after the proper sanding process.
Ambient Conditions: The ambient temperature should be between +5 and +35 ° C. Pay attention to the ventilation in the indoor applications.
Mixing Procedure: It is a two-component product and therefore it should be prepared at the mixture ratio specified for the amount to be used by taking into account the container life. Pay attention to that the product temperature is not lower than 15°C for a homogeneous mixture. The component A should be mixed rapidly by using a mechanical mixer and then hardener (component B) should be added by paying attention to the mixture ratio. The component A and the component B should be mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Application onto the Surface: The mixture that is ready for use is applied with airless spray gun as two or three transversal layers. Required surface saturation. It should be left in a dust-free place for curing.
Cleaning: Polyurethane thinner.
Application tools: 14020 POLYURETHANE FIRE RETARDANT VARNISH can be applied with spray, brush or roller. The product should penetrate into the wood and should be allowed to dry thoroughly for it to be able to be effective. The product can be painted with one layer of compatible paint after the process.

STORAGE: Store the product in a cool and dry place. The shelf life of the product is 12 months when it is stored properly. Unopened original package.
